Jamal Hakim is running for Lord Mayor! 

And Esther Anatolitis is running alongside him for Deputy Lord Mayor!

Jamal is a long-time City of Melbourne resident, local, and committed community representative with a proven track record in advocating for community wellbeing, accessibility, and local business support.

Esther’s a nationally renowned arts, media and urban planning leader who’s lived in the municipality over twenty years – the last decade right in the heart of the CBD – and has won numerous awards for her City of Melbourne events, tourism impact and advocacy.

Jamal will be at Melbourne’s iconic Capitol on Thursday 26 September – with Esther and her Capitol neighbours – from 5:30pm to chat to CBD residents about our vision for a Melbourne that's welcoming, democratic and flourishing.
